It’s certainly been a bumpy ride for the creative industry. After years in which (creative) businesses worldwide have had to act courageously and cleverly to deal with exceptional challenges, the Cultural Department of the City of Dortmund and partners were finally able to team up and organize The Turkish Film Days (Türkische Filmtage).
D’art Duvar was asked to design a poster of the second edition of this notable three-day (free-of-charge) event, which took place in Dortmund on the 23rd-26th of March ‘22. Despite our contribution to helping this event to go public, we also had the opportunity to attend the event and embrace the world of Turkish cult cinema.
The Turkish Film Days were held for the first time as part of the “Merhaba Heimat Kulturtage 2021”. The German-Turkish recruitment agreement celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2021. On this occasion, selected films were shown. Due to the great response, it was decided to continue the Turkish Film Days.
